Public training sessions in Weimar
The German national team will be preparing for the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship in Thuringia. The team will be based in Weimar, where it will hold at least two public training sessions. The dates and times of these sessions will be announced at a later date.
Germany will also set up a training camp at the DFB Campus in Frankfurt am Main. The team will use the camp as a base for its preparations for the tournament.
"We are very happy to be able to prepare for the European Championship in Thuringia," said DFB President Bernd Neuendorf. "The conditions there are ideal, and we are sure that we will be able to prepare well for the tournament in Weimar."
Germany will open its European Championship campaign against defending champion Italy on June 14, 2024 in Munich. The team will also face England and Ukraine in the group stage.
